BLUE HILL — Eric Medved has joined Blue Hill Memorial Hospital (BHMH) as the new manager of Rehabilitation Services. Mr. Medved is a licensed physical therapist with experience in sports medicine, orthopedics and acute care.

“We are pleased to welcome Eric to our team,” said Paula Theriault. “We are excited to expand the availability of our rehabilitation services. Eric will be a wonderful addition to Blue Hill Memorial Hospital.”

Explains Mr. Medved, “I feel that therapy covers the full spectrum of a health cycle — from injury to recovery — and I want to be involved in a community where you can reach people easily, and see the results of this health change.”

The BHMH Rehab Department consists of respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Services are offered at Bucksport Family Medicine, in the Rehab Department at the hospital, in schools, and in the home through Hancock County HomeCare.
